The activity of the commercial department is essentially concerned with the commercial operation of ships to which are associated all the subsidiary operations allowing maximum efficiency to be guaranteed in this activity. It is also in charge of chartering by looking for and negotiating charter parties, transport contracts, checking and updating contracts as well as charter parties, and ensuring of any restrictions imposed by international bodies: UN resolutions, Boycott etc.
